Fun book recommendation of the day
Catriona Masterton's fiance, Ethan, is perfect. By perfect we mean normal! He is very orgonized. For example, he plans trips six months in advance and arrives at the airport a minimum of three hours early. He purchases life insurance, luggage insurance, and always opts for the extended warranty. In short, He is responsible, reliable, and would make any woman a wonderful life partner.
But Catriona's family is the exact opposite of Ethan. Her mother has a kitchen gadget fetish, her father is in love with taxidermied field mice, and her brother is a super stoner man-child who lives in her parent's basement. Her Scottish grandmother is a cool woman with a proclivity for profanity and mischief.
Catriona is so worried that what will her normal fiance think when she takes him home with her to meet her parents? Things become even more interesting when Catriona's family invite her ex to join them for a holiday dinner. Now she has to also worry about what will Ethan think when he discovers her ex will join them for a holiday dinner?
