Fun book recommendation of the day
With We Are Never Meeting in Real Life written by the blogger and comedian Samantha Irby is a painfully funny collection of her essays where she captures powerful emotional truths while recoeding the rubbish bin she calls her life. In this book, Samantha talks about how her difficult childhood has led to a problem in making adult budgets, and reasons why she thinks should be the new Bachelorette! Samantha says that she is "35-ish, but could easily pass for 60-something". In the book she details a disastrous pilgrimage-slash-romantic vacation to Nashville to scatter her estranged father's ashes, sharing awkward romantic encounters, and gives advice on how to navigate friendships with former drinking buddies who are now suburban moms.
